At SPACE Training we specialise in challenging behaviour, conflict resolution and physical interventions, and have been delivering consistently excellent training since our inception in 1991.  We deliver bespoke training and consultancy services to a wide range of social care and health organisations, as well as to parents and carers looking after children, young adults or elderly persons who challenge.  Our programmes are called A Proactive Approach to Conflict.
With more than twenty years delivering training, and around 200 years of collective experience we can offer you expertise and training which is of the highest quality.   
 
We believe that in our A Proactive Approach to Conflict programme we have a training system that can and does, make a positive impact on services and the lives of carers and and the people they care for alike.  We have trained thousands of frontline staff and professionals in organisations across the country and across a range of sectors, from supported living services for adults or children, day care services, hospitals, schools, to services for children with learning disabilities, autism and complex behaviours, adults with dementia or aquired brain injury, and individuals, parents and carers in their own homes.   
 
We strongly believe in the rights of every person to be treated with dignity, consequently all of
our release, deflection and intervention techniques have been developed to respect the person, are built around the Bild code of Practice and have been fully risk assessed. 
 
Pain based Physical Intervention techniques disregard the rights and dignity of the person, we will not teach them.

We have added to our list of training recently to meet the requirements of our clients and we now have a large range of Mental Health programmes delivered by our very own specialist, as well as Safeguarding Adults, Equality and Inclusion and a suite of Management programmes that are as unique in their content as they are useful.
